The Golden Reel 2024 Grand Final Venue
The Golden Reel Grand Final will take place at Larford Lakes in Worcestershire. The final will take place on Larford’s Specimen Lake (Speci Lake).


Larford Lakes is known for its excellent fishing and has become a prominent venue for competitive anglers. The Speci Lake is home to some extremely large carp, as well as plenty of bream and roach.
The Golden Reel Grand Final Format
26 anglers will compete in the Golden Reel Grand Final on Saturday, 28th September at Larford Lakes in Worcestershire. The match will take place over five hours. The match will start at noon and end at 5 pm. The angler with the largest weight at the end of the final will be crowned the 2024 Golden Reel champion.
The Golden Reel Grand Final uses the Golden Reel and Larford Lakes fishery rules.
The draw for The Golden Reel Grand Final will occur on the morning of the final (Saturday, 28th September).
The Golden Reel 2024 Grand Final Prize Fund
The Golden Reel offers substantial prizes, making it one of the richest and most prestigious individual events in UK match angling. The first prize for this year’s final is £30,000.
The total prize fund for The Golden Reel Final is based on ticket sales for the 24 qualification matches. The winner of this year’s Grand Final will receive £30,000. The total prize pool and breakdown for other positions will likely be announced closer to the event date.
The Golden Reel 2024 Grand Final Spectator Information
- Tickets: Spectators are welcome to watch the final at Larford Lakes and there is no fee to attend. Larford boasts a large car park.
