Saturday, the 6th of July saw the latest qualifier for this year’s Golden Reel final held at The Glebe in Peckleton, Leicestershire. The victory went to Brad Lucas, who won the match from an end peg on 44 Lake 3.
The young angler who is yet to reach his 20s. He finished the match with 266lb winning by over 20lb. He fished a relatively straightforward match fishing short on hard pellets early on, before sitting to the edge and catching consistently throughout the match until the final 40 minutes.
Congratulations to Brad Lucas who becomes the latest angler to qualify for the big-money final at Larford Lakes on 28th September. The full list of Golden Reel 24 finalists is below:
