Saturday, 14th June saw the Maver Match This qualifier series return to Warwickshire’s Makins Fishery for another fiercely contested round. With just a handful of tickets left to claim, tension was high as anglers battled for a coveted place in September’s Grand Final.
This time, it was Kerry Kirkwood who rose to the occasion, delivering a composed performance on Lake 4 that secured him a well-earned spot in the final. Drawing peg 3, Kerry made the most of the opportunity to put together a winning weight of 173lb 5oz, booking his name alongside an already star-studded finalist lineup.
