The FishOMania 2024 Grand Final promises to be one of the most exciting events in the angling calendar. Starting in 1994, FishOMania has grown in popularity each year and is now celebrating its 30th anniversary.

Qualification for this year’s Grand Final began on the 30th of March at Tunnel Barn Farm and ended last week at Marston Fields Fishery. 20 qualifier matches were fished in total, with only the match winner earning the chance to fish for the FishOMania title and the £50,000 first prize. They will be joined in the final by last year’s FishOMania winner, two international qualifiers, and the individual winners of this year’s Junior/Youth and Women’s Nationals.

Who Has Qualified for the FishOMania 2024 Grand Final?

25 anglers will compete in this year’s FishOMania Grand Final on 27th July. The lineup is arguably one of the strongest in the competition’s history featuring former FishOMania champions, England internationals and festival winners.

FishOMania 2024 Grand Final Venue

This year’s FishOMania Grand Final venue is Falcon Lake at Westwood Lakes in Boston. The match will take place on Saturday, 27th July. This is the third year in a row that the Fisho Final has been held at Westwood Lakes. This year’s final will feature both of the previous winners: Matt Dawes and Kristian Jones.

Westwood Lakes offers the perfect backdrop for this prestigious event. The venue has excellent facilities for competitors and spectators, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience.


FishOMania 2024 Grand Final Format

25 anglers will fish the FishOMania 2024 final on 27th July at Westwood Lakes in Boston. The five-hour match will start at 11:35 and end at 16:35. Competitors will weigh in every 30 minutes. The angler with the largest aggregate weight from 10 weigh-ins is crowned the FishOMania 2024 champion.

The FishOMania final uses Angling Trust match rules in combination with Westwood Lakes match rules.

The FishOMania 2024 Grand Final draw will occur on Friday, 26th July at 5 pm.

FishOMania 2024 Grand Final Prize Fund

Details of the FishOMania 2024 prize fund are below:

  • Winner – £50,000
  • Runner-up – £10,000
  • Section Winners* – £2,000
  • Qualifiers – £350
  • Section prize money goes to sections which do not produce the winner and runner-up.

FishOMania 2024 Grand Final Spectator Information

FishOMania is as much about the fans as it is about the competition. Here’s how you can be part of the action on Saturday, 27th July:

  • Tickets: Spectator tickets are available via the FishOMania website. Individual tickets are available for £7.00 each. Group booking for four spectators is available for £20.00. Parking is also available for £7 per car and £10 per van. There is also a 10% service fee and £2.95 admin fee per order.
  • Facilities: The venue will feature numerous amenities including food stalls, merchandise shops, and seating areas to ensure a comfortable viewing experience. The event will also host various family-friendly activities such as angling workshops, interactive exhibits, and entertainment for children. Stalls open at 10 am.
  • Live Coverage: The FishOMania Grand Final will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Arena HD on Saturday, 27th July. The coverage begins at 11:30 am. Sky Sports Arena can be found on Sky channel 408, Virgin channel 518 and NOW TV. You can also stream the final live on Matchroom Live. A daily subscription to Matchroom Live can be purchased for £1.99.

FishOMania 2024 Grand Final Schedule

The Angling Trust Facebook page has revealed a detailed schedule for the FishoMania Grand Final on Saturday, 27th July.

  • 07:30: Westwood Lakes gates open to the public. Bait and Tackle shop and Fisherman’s Resr Cafe open.
  • 08:30: Anglers competing in the FishOMania final grain access to their pegs.
  • 10:00: Mallard Bar and the demo stands around Skylark Lake are open to the public.
  • 10:30: Spectator admission to Falcon Lake opens to the public.
  • 10:30: All anglers competing in the FishoMania final to be set up.
  • 10:30: Angling Trust will brief all the anglers competing in the final on the main stage.
  • 11:30: Sky TV broadcast begins.
  • 11:35: The hooter sounds for the start of the FishOMania Grand Final.
  • 16:35: FishOMania match ends.
  • 16:50: Presentation on the main stage.
  • 17:00: Sky TV broadcast ends.
