Angling Trust Cadet, Junior and Youth National Champs Results

Last weekend saw the Angling Trust’s Cadet, Junior and Youth National Championships take place at Partridge Lakes in Warrington. On Saturday, 29th June it was the turn of the Cadets (10-12 years) and Juniors (13-15 years), whilst the Youths (16-20 years) fished on Sunday, 30th June.

Team Rammy and Sensas Future Networks emerged victorious over the weekend, sharing the team and individual titles. There was also the coveted prize of a place in this year’s FishOMania Grand Final for Ted Stewart who was invited by sponsors Matchroom for recording the largest weight over the weekend.

Angling Trust Guru Cadet National 2024

The Cadets each aged between 10 and 12 years old fished a four-hour match on Partridge’s Spey, Marsh, Willow and Piper lakes. Team Rammy took the team gold with a score of only nine section points. They also won the individual gold medal as Hary Thwaites secured the largest individual weight of 22k 650.

Angling Trust Guru Junior National 2024

The Juniors aged between 13 and 15 fished a five-hour match that was spread between Partridge’s Covey Lakes 1 to 6. Sensas Future Networks took the gold medal with 12 section points. It was Team Rammy’s Ted Stewart who took the individual gold medal and the invite to the FishOManai final to top off a superb weekend.

  • Bill Langley – Team Rammy – 37k 600g

Angling Trust Guru Youth National 2024

The Youth National for anglers aged between 16 and 20 saw thirteen teams of six complete on Partdige’s Covey 1 to 6 and Spey lakes. The winner of the team event was Sensas Future Networks who finished with 18 points, three ahead of Team Rammy on 21 points. Sensas Future Networks also claimed the individual gold medal with Harry Michael pipping second-placed Sam Radford by 475g.
