Earlier this week, Middy announced that their recruitment drive for “big top flight anglers” had ended with the addition of Andrew Mann. His signing was the fifth big name following the announcements of Ryan Laycock, Brad Parkes, Chris Lane and Jim Hall. Steve Barraclough was the first to sign up following the company’s takeover, and we also saw the return of Luke Bamford who has been with Middy off-and-on since 2009.
While Middy has completed its search for more well-known anglers to represent the brand, the company also invited up-and-coming anglers and dedicated enthusiasts to become part of the Middy family.
Today Middy announced their latest sponsored angler is 19-year-old Nicole Marchant from Kettering. The teenager comes from a large fishing family, is a fully qualified level two angling coach, and currently sits in third place on the Hot Fishin’ Women’s Angler League for Spring 2024.
Nicole is also enthusiastic about attracting more youngsters into the sport of angling, similar to her new teammate Izzy Gibbins.
Congratulations to both Nicole and Middy on the signing.
