In recent weeks, the Middy Facebook page has increased in activity as we get closer to the company’s relaunch. It began with the announcement of the new Middy Hardcase Pole Protector. Middy also promised that stock of new and existing products is already making its way to shops.

On 3rd May, the Facebook page announced that Middy is now taking applications from existing and new trade partners. It was also revealed that the company had appointed sales agents who will start in June and begin to contact tackle shops.

With the Middy relaunch finally looking like it’s getting closer, the manufacturer’s Facebook shared some more updates earlier today. It promised that “big things are happening” and the first of many planned updates followed later this evening.

The first big update from Middy is that it has signed its first new sponsored angler. The teaser video released with the post revealed it to be former Fenzee and Browning angler, Steve Barraclough. You can watch the announcement video below:
