Following a long hiatus, MAP has announced a new range of pole floats has been added to its product range. The UK tackle manufacturer teased the announcement recently, before revealing the full details. The range consists of three margin floats, three shallow floats and a deck float which will cover a wide range of your commercial pole fishing needs.
All the floats in the range are handmade in the UK, by an unnamed company that MAP describes as “one of the country’s most trusted pole float manufacturers”. The new floats are inspected by hand to ensure quality standards are met, strength and shotting accuracy.
Each float is constructed with an IGF 110 body to guarantee strength and features a robust hybrid power eye. Most of the floats use a hard-glass stem, with the Shallow 1 float being the only exception using a carbon stem.
All seven of the new MAP pole floats retail for £2.65 and the range is available from MAP stockists today. You can find further details of the new floats below, or visit the MAP website.
