Ali Hamidi, the angling personality and CEO of the carpy tackle brand One More Cast, has announced series 3 of the Grand Fishing Adventure. The series is set to air on ITV 4 on Tuesday, 15th April at 9 pm.
Grand Fishing Adventure series 3 promises to redefine fishing entertainment by focusing on what happens under the surface. Titled Underwater Grand Fishing Adventure, this new season delves into the mysteries of Europe’s most popular fish — the carp. The series uses cutting-edge filming techniques, including live cameras and spycams, to reveal the myths and truths of carp behaviour in real-time.

Ali leads the show alongside ex-footballer Bobby Zamora and renowned carp expert Roo Abbott. They are joined by Luc Boerrigter, an underwater filming specialist whose expertise ensures viewers experience the underwater world like never before. The team uses “Livecams” and “Spycams,” dubbed “Carp VAR,” to analyse baiting strategies, rig effectiveness, and fish reactions with precision.
Since its debut in 2022, The Grand Fishing Adventure has proven popular with its mix of angling challenges, travel, and humour. Earlier seasons featured thrilling pursuits of species like giant Wels catfish and sturgeon across iconic locations in the UK, Spain, and France. The second season introduced underwater filming at Iktus in southern France, setting the stage for this immersive third installment.
