Drennan has announced five new products available in tackle shops immediately. The launch is modest compared to some releases from the company this year. It includes new running rigs, ant-tangle sleeves, mono/braid scissors, feeder links and a 5m elasticated whip kit.

Drennan Run Rig Kits
The new Drennan Run Rig Kits are available in three sizes – small, medium and large. They are designed to create a tangle-free running rig for feeder and bomb fishing. Each pack contains four ant-tangle sleeves, four run rings, four stop beads, and four quick-change swivels.
The super slick run rings provide minimal resistance to fish and allow you to change your lead or feeder quickly. The anti-tangle sleeves are made from a sinking polymer and perfectly match the quick-change swivels that help to kick your hooklink away reducing tangles.
Drennan Anti-Tangle Sleeves
The Drennan Anti-Tangle Sleeves are available in three sizes – small, medium and large. They are supplied in pack of 10 ( 5 x green and 5 x brown). The sleeve is designed to kick hook lengths away from feeders and bombs to avoid tangles.
Designed to have a tight interference fit over the eye of swivels – Large fit size 9 swivels, Medium fit size 11 swivels, Small fit size 14 swivels.
Drennan Specialist Braid and Mono Scissors
The Drennan Specialist Braid and Mono scissors feature hardened stainless steel serrated blades and soft-touch handles. Designed specifically for use with both mono and braid.
Specialist Braid & Mono Scissors have hardened stainless steel blades and are ideal for all monofilaments, fluorocarbons and braids.
They have an efficient shearing action and comfortable soft touch finger grip handles.
Fine serrations on the leading edge of one blade hold the line in position, prevent it from slipping and allow small cuts to be made with precision
Drennan Flexi Feeder Links
The Drennan Flexi Feeder Links provide a flexible boom that can be attached to feeders and bombs. They are supplied in packs of four and are available in 2″ and 3″ lengths.
Flexi Feeder Links are very similar to our popular “Feeder Links” but with a flexible boom between the small diameter anti-tangle sliding eye and the clip link swivel for feeder and bomb attachment.
This flexible boom improves both bites and bite detection and is preferred by the England feeder team, particularly when fishing for small fish and wanting to hit every bite.
Drennan Vertex 5m Elasticated Whip Kit
The new Drennan Vertex 5m Elasticated Whip Kit contains everything you need to begin fishing immediately. The pack includes the Vertex 5m whip and connector, a rig, a discorger and more. The 5m has been requested following the success of the 3m and 4m versions which are already available.
Whip fishing is the quickest and easiest way to start fishing and catch large numbers of small fish.
These Elasticated kits feature a fully elasticated top section that gives the angler far more chance of landing bigger bonus fish. Tied with 4lb 0.18mm rig line to 3lb 0.15mm hook length the size 16 silverfish pellet hook is perfect for maggots, casters, soft pellets, sweetcorn and bread. The kit also includes disgorger, pole hook up and pole elastic connector already fitted.
