Tuesday saw the fourth round of the first On The Flyer TV UK Feeder Champs take place at Lindholme Lakes in Doncaster. The match was the final round of the league-based competition, following the three matches at Lindholme, Hallcroft and Barston.
Nick Speed went into Tuesday’s match in a strong position in the league. He had a total of four points following two section wins and a section runner-up in the previous matches. He drew peg 24 on Bonsai for the final match, which he described on Facebook as “one of the few pegs I didn’t want.”
Despite the draw and a slow start to the match, Speedy managed to put a steady run of carp together. The final hour proved to be especially productive as he put 159lb 10oz on the scales. That was good enough for second place in the match, but most importantly another section win.
Congrats to Nick for finishing the league with an almost-perfect score of five points. That was more than enough to win the inaugural On The Flyer TV UK Feeder Champs title. Second place in the league went to Eddie Bridon with 8 points from the four matches. Dave Wood came third with 10 points. Joe Jagger also finished the league on 10 points, however, Dave’s combined weight of 319lb 15oz was enough to secure third place.

THE UK FEEDER CHAMPS 2025
After the success of the 2024 Feeder Champs, we knew straight away that this was going to be a firm favourite in the match fishing calendar.
Nick Speed became the FIRST EVER UK Feeder Champ, finishing all four rounds with an outstanding 5 points for the 2024 campaign.
For 2025 we have changed the venues around, and tried to spread them around the country more.
If you want to compete against the best and be in the running for some huge cash prizes, this is the competition for you! Running in a league style format, this four match series will put your skills to the test across some of the best feeder flinging venues around.
The competition will be scored via section points with the angler with the lowest cumulative score at the end of the series lifting the trophy and becoming the 2025 UK Feeder Champ.
The rules are simple:
This is a FEEDER ONLY competition, so no bombs will be allowed. Feeding is only allowed via a feeder meaning no catapults can be used.
Entry is £250 and will be capped at 80 anglers.
Congrats to Nick Speed on the victory and to Gary Rodgers for another well-organised competition.
