The On The Flyer TV Facebook page has announced a new big-money competition for junior anglers. FisherManiac 2025 is specifically for anglers under 18 and promises to be one of the largest junior fishing competitions in the UK.
This one is going to be a big money event for the juniors in our opinion haven’t had an event like this to showcase themselves on a big stage platform.
FisherManiac 2025 will consist of five qualifying rounds held at various commercial venues. These include Tunnel Barn Farm, Aston Park Fisheries, Jansons Fishery, and Partridge Lakes. The final will occur on Saturday, 12th July 2025 at Tunnel Barn Farm.
Participants who win their section in a qualifier will advance directly to the FisherManiac 2025 final. The competition will follow standard UK commercial rules alongside those imposed by the fisheries.
Entry tickets for the FisherManiac 2025 qualifiers cost £30. Anglers can purchase multiple tickets if required. If an angler qualifies for the final, they will receive a refund for any remaining tickets.
The event has already secured significant sponsorship, with On the Flyer TV, Middy Match Range, and Tunnel Barn Farm contributing a combined £2,250 to the prize pool. Organisers aim to reach a first-place prize of at least £3,000.
Barry Maddicott, known for his contributions to junior angling, will lead the event. The entire competition will be filmed and presented in a style similar to popular premium angling events.
The organisers are seeking additional sponsors to increase the prize pool and make this the largest event for junior anglers in the UK. For sponsorship enquiries, you can message the On The Flyer TV Facebook page or Barry Maddicott.
