On The Flyer Events is quickly becoming one of the biggest names in match fishing. The Winter Classic is already one of the biggest and most anticipated matches of the year thanks to its massive £10,000 prize. They also introduced the new Winter Commercial Challenger Cup for 2024.
Earlier today, Gary Rodgers, the organiser behind all the On The Flyer matches and festivals, announced an interesting new format for a one-off match in July. The Commercial Edge Master Competition will take place on Outer Moat at Hallcroft Fishery on 3rd July.
The Commercial Edge Master Competition is the brainchild of respected angler Nick Speed. The competition will run between 3 pm and 6 pm, with a 10-minute pre-baiting period before the start of the match. Competitors can only fish a maximum of one metre from the bank. The winner of the match will receive a trophy and a big cheque. The exact payout is yet to be confirmed, as it will depend on how many anglers book on the event.
