The upcoming Feeder Masters qualifier, originally scheduled for Rudyard Lake, has been moved to Carr Mill Dam due to critically low water levels. The Feeder Masters Facebook page, revealed that the event will still go ahead on Sunday, 20th July 2025. Existing tickets for Rudyard Lake remain valid.

Rudyard Lake is a respected and scenic venue, but the water conditions left organisers with no other option. In their statement, the Feeder Masters team said:

This difficult situation is completely out of our control and we can only apologise for this unforeseen event.

As a replacement, Carr Mill Dam offers a familiar and reliable alternative. Located near St Helens in Merseyside, it is the largest inland body of water in the county and a long-standing venue for competitive feeder fishing. The deep, expansive water is known for challenging conditions, skimmer shoals, and hard-earned bites.

The draw will take place at 9am at the boathouse beside the dam. The top three anglers will secure their place in the Feeder Masters Grand Final at Upper Tamar Lake later this season. Organisers gave special thanks to John Turnock, who stepped in at short notice to run the event and manage logistics. His help was described as hugely appreciated.
