The 15th Maver Match This qualifier of the year was held at Hayfield Lakes in Doncaster on Saturday, 29th June, and it was Andy Power who booked a place in the grand final. The qualifier win topped off a good week for “The Power” as he also qualified for his 9th FishOMania grand final on the previous Saturday.
The former Maver Match This champion won the qualifier at Hayfield Lakes from peg 21 on Dannie’s Island with a weight of 244lb. He caught mainly using hard pellets on the shallow pole, along with some on the pellet waggler.
