Tickets for the Maver Match This 2025 qualifiers are now on sale. 25 qualifying matches will take place between Saturday, 15th March and Sunday, 17th August 2025. The Maver Match This 2025 Grand Final will occur on Saturday, 6th September.
Some changes have been announced for next year’s competition. The most significant being an increase in ticket prices from £50 to £54.99. This is to cover increased costs and to “maintain or better the level of payouts” from previous years.
The draw procedure for each qualifier has also been updated due to the number of “no-shows.” Anglers must arrive at the fishery by 8:30 a.m. to register and pay for optional pools. The draw for each match will then take place at 9:00 a.m. This will allow organisers time to adjust pegging and sections before the draw making the qualifier fairer for all anglers involved.
