On Wednesday, 20th May 2026, Old Hough Fishery hosted its second FishOMania qualifier of the season, where Jordan Holloway secured his place in this year’s Grand Final with a strong winning performance.
The Cheshire venue has already produced one FishOMania finalist this season, and Jordan became the latest angler to book his ticket to Westwood Lakes after topping the standings with a mixed catch of carp and F1s. Drawn on peg 17 on Goose Lake, Jordan weighed 134lb 14oz to finish comfortably clear of the chasing pack. His winning margin of just under 10lb proved enough to secure the all-important qualification spot and continue his impressive campaign.
Dan Squire claimed second place with 125lb 3oz from peg 9 on Big Max Lake. He kept the pressure on throughout the day but was unable to close the gap on the eventual winner. Third place went to Lee Thornton, who weighed 103lb 9oz from peg 15 on Prospect Lake to complete the podium positions.

Old Hough Fishery continues to prove itself as one of the most productive venues on the FishOMania calendar. Hosting two qualifiers during the season provides anglers with multiple opportunities to secure a coveted place in the Grand Final. Once again, the venue delivered competitive action across its lakes. Jordan’s victory adds another new name to the growing list of finalists, with the race for qualification becoming increasingly competitive as the season progresses.
