Maver has unveiled details of its upcoming pole, the MV-RXX PRO on Facebook. The MV-RXX Pro builds upon the success of its predecessor, the MV-RXX.
The MV-RXX was a popular addition to the Maver range, winning critical and commercial success. It was praised for its rigidity and was dubbed “the dawn of the Hyper-pole”.
The new Maver MV-RXX Pro retains the popular features of the original, including the 18mm mandrel, while introducing innovative enhancements. Its most significant upgrade is incorporating a new type of M9 carbon fibre, typically used in windsurfing boards. This material significantly increases the pole’s strength and resilience, particularly in challenging conditions such as strong winds or when battling larger fish. Despite these improvements, the pole maintains its lightweight properties, offering enhanced performance without compromising ease of use.
Manufactured in partnership with Reglass, the MV-RXX PRO utilises advanced European technology and patented features. The pole also features Maver’s exclusive ‘AFS’ anti-friction coating, which improves handling.
The Maver MV-RXX PRO pole comes with a comprehensive package, including various topkits, additional sections, and a Pole Protection Case for storage and transport.
Unfortunately, at the time of writing, Maver has yet to reveal the exact release date and retail price. Stay tuned for more information as and when it is announced.
