In June, MAP teased a new addition to its popular Embed feeder range in the shape of the Embed Method Feeder. The original teaser stated that the new feeder would be available in August, but MAP hasn’t provided any additional updates since that announcement. Thankfully, MAP has revealed that the Embed Method Feeder is available now and is already shipping to MAP stockists.
Embed Innovation
The Embed Inline Feeder launched last year and won awards for its simple yet effective innovation. The hybrid-style feeder features a rubber line stop at the base. This ensures hook baits remain perfectly in place over the feeder after casting. It also allows you to shorten your hook length to the feeder on the fly. The new Embed Method Feeder features the same line stop as its predecessor and is fully interchangeable using the same stem.
MAP Embed Method Feeder
The new method feeder is available in three sizes. Small (24g and 30g), medium )24g and 32g) and large (32g and 42g). The feeder retails for £3.25. The design of the feeder includes popular features from the Embed Inline Feeder.

Each Embed Method feeder is supplied with standard 75mm stem, tail rubber plus a rubberised hooklink adaptor.
This new feeder design takes the best bits of our original Embed feeder design and puts it into a Method feeder capable of delivering groundbait and pellets accurately.
Embed Method’s design ensure that YOU are in control to maximise your bite potential. With it’s deep main cavity, and the built-in line grip, you can have piece of mind that you’re fishing YOUR way, even when bites are hard to come by.
Each Embed Method feeder is based around a removable stem that allows you to swap feeders quickly, and the soft-rubber line grip allows you to position the amount of ‘free’ hooklength within the bait. What’s more, the vented design ensure minimal bait disturbance on impact with the water, and to adhere to fish-safety rules, it’s a free-running feeder.
For more accurate casting the feeder is front-loaded to fly straighter.

In addition to the new method feeder, MAP has revealed some additional items that can be purchased separately. Moulds to assist with loading the feeder are available for £3.99. The moulds are made of soft non-stick rubber and are available in small, medium and large to correspond with the new feeder sizes.
Additional Embed Feeder Stems retail for £2.49 in a pack of two. Stems are available in a standard size of 75mm or a longer 100mm. Spare Embed Feeder Connectors are also available in a pack of five for £2.49.
