Tackle manufacturer MAP has recently launched a shiny new website full of everything you might want to know about its products. The company has also followed in the footsteps of Guru by offering spares to end users.

The new site is easy to use and navigate. At the top of the page, you will find links to each product category such as poles, seatboxes and consumables. On each category page, you can find in-depth details about the relevant MAP products including full specs and retail prices.

The media and info pages are where you can find the latest updates from MAP. The sections include news, videos from MAP angling consultants, how-to tutorials for its products, the MAP catalogue, and FAQs.

The spares section offers end users a way to order seatbox, rod, QRS, and reel spares directly from MAP. This isn’t a way for you to buy complete items, however. You will only be able to order “gear that gets lost or broken in daily life that you may not be able to buy immediately in a retailer.”

Each month we receive countless messages from end users who want to either replace a part or add to their collection but can’t seem to find these parts.

The spares section of the website – broken into seatbox spares, rod spares, QRS spares and reel spares – allows you to purchase a selection of spares to suit different products, helping you to keep you MAP tackle working as it should. This isn’t an online shop to buy major items such as seatboxes and poles – that’s where our network of retailers comes in – but a way for you to get hold of things like handwheels, top kit sections and keepnet brackets, gear that gets lost or broken in daily life that you may not be able to buy immediately in a retailer.
