Following yesterday’s teaser video, Matrix has today confirmed that Callum Dicks has joined the brand as an angling consultant. The announcement on the Matrix Facebook page revealed that Callum has signed a “long-term contract” with the brand after his recent departure from Maver.
The agreement was signed between Martix and Callum Dicks following his visit to the Matrix/Fox headquarters in Essex on Wednesday.
Matrix Marketing Manager Craig Butterfield said this about the tackle manufacturers’ newest recruit.
Callum is a phenomenal angler and I’m over the moon that he’s signed with us. The talent we already have within the team is ridiculous and now with Callum on board, I feel we’re taking that to the next level. He has an amazing fishing brain and he’s already full of ideas for exciting new products and video content that we can’t wait to film as soon as he’s settled in.
Callum Dicks added:
I’m extremely excited to be working with such an innovative forward thinking brand. I feel with the support, guidance and product that Matrix produce, this step is really going to take my fishing to another level and I can’t wait to get started.
News of Callum’s Dicks joining Matrix has been well received, with many people congratulating both parties. Dicks’ signing is another excellent addition to Matrix’s talented pool of consultants. He joins the likes of Jamie Hughes, Mark Pollard, Jamie Harrison, Jon Arthur, and Aiden Mansfield. In return, Dicks joins one of the UK’s biggest match and coarse fishing brands.
