Tickets Now Available for Women’s & Anglers with Disabilities Nationals

The Angling Trust Competitions Facebook page has announced that tickets for the Women’s National Championship and Anglers with Disabilities National Championship are now available.. Both events will take place on Saturday, 5th July at Partridge Lakes in Warrington, Cheshire. As in previous years, the winner of the Women’s individual event will qualify for the 2025 FishOMania Grand Final.

Details for both championships are outlined below:

Women’s National Championship

Fished across Covey Lakes 1 to 6, the Women’s National is open to all female members of the Angling Trust. The draw will take place at 8:45 am, with fishing scheduled from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.

The entry fee is £30, with an optional £10 pools split equally between section and overall prizes.

A Teams of Four event also runs alongside the individual match. Teams must be pre-registered by the entry deadline, and each angler must also be entered in the individual competition. Team results are based on total combined weight, with a £20 team entry fee, and an optional £20 team pools payable on the day. Teams do not need to be affiliated with a club.

Anglers with Disabilities National Championship

The 2025 Anglers with Disabilities National Championship will also be held at Partridge Lakes, using Willow and Ribbon Lakes, both selected for their accessibility and flat, well-maintained platforms.

The event is open to all disabled Angling Trust individual members and follows the same format and timings as other national matches. The draw will be at 8:30 am, with fishing taking place from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Entry Requirements

  • All anglers must be 16 or over on the day of the match.
  • A responsible adult must accompany anyone under 18.
  • A valid Environment Agency rod licence is required.
  • All competitors must hold current Angling Trust individual membership.

Summary of Key Rules

  • Open to Angling Trust individual members only
