The three-day Daiwa Pole Fishing Masters 2024 at Tunnel Barn Farm in Warwickshire concluded this afternoon. Over the past three days, 122 of the country’s best anglers competed to win the event, but it was Keiran Marsden who was crowned this year’s champion.
Marsden earned a perfect score by winning his section on all three days. On day one, he won his section from peg 7 on New Pool by over 20 lbs, finishing the match with 115 lbs 15 oz. Day two brought a similar result from peg 31 on New Pool, as he won his section by over 30 lbs with 118 lbs 11 oz. On day three, Marsden cemented his win by finishing with the biggest overall weight of the day, 183 lbs 12 oz, from peg 6 on House Pool.
Two other anglers finished the three-day event with perfect scores after winning their sections on all three days, but Marsden’s overall weight of 418 lbs 6 oz was enough to secure the victory. Jimmy Brookes took second place with a total weight of 336 lbs 5 oz, and Jack Arblaster finished in third place with 324 lbs 15 oz.
