Popular match angler May Potter has revealed that she is parting ways with bait sponsor Dynamite Baits.
The England International revealed on her Instagram and Facebook page that yesterday (25th March) would be her final day with the Dynamite. She also thanked the brand for their help and support in helping her to “improve and compete as an angler”.
Earlier today, the reason for her departure became clearer. Rival bait company Aquastim revealed that May has joined the company as their new Social Media and Marketing Manager.

May had this to say about the move:
I am excited about the opportunity to work with Aquastim and help drive the brand’s online presence. What I like about the brand is that all ranges of baits are ethically sourced, sustainably sourced, and nutritional for the fish. The potential for Aquastim as a brand is huge and I am looking forward to being part of Aquastims growth. It’s exciting times!
Aquastim boss Jason Trought added:
With AquaStim now falling under the control of time-proven and successful carp bait brand DNA Baits, we wanted to make sure we moved the brand forward with the same quality-based ethos that has served us so well for the last 15 years. To mirror this, of course, we wanted the best people involved to make sure the brand has the best possible start. When May approached us regarding the role of Media and Marketing Manager we were both excited and flattered. May is not only an angler of the highest calibre but her dynamic work ethic and passion for the industry shines through, making her the ideal candidate for this role. She understands the key elements of the AquaStim vision regarding marrying quality with sustainability and myself and my colleagues are delighted to be working alongside her. The future is bright!
