Drennan Team England Feeder produced an outstanding performance at the 2025 European Feeder Cup in Belgium, winning both the team and individual titles. The event took place at the vast Maasplas Geistingen gravel pits near Kinrooi, where the reigning Feeder World Champions showed once again why they are the best in the world.
Double Gold for England
Across three days of competition, England finished with just 53 points, securing gold ahead of hosts Belgium Red on 68.5. The Team England Masters Feeder side added further success, claiming the bronze medal with 94 points.
Steve Ringer retained his individual European title after another superb display. Both he and teammate Adam Wakelin ended the event on five points, but Steve’s higher total weight of 35.740kg gave him the gold medal. Wakelin’s 17.880kg earned him silver, while Germany’s Marc Steck took bronze. England’s strength in depth showed, with Mac Stephens and Will Freeman also finishing in the top six.
Strong Start on Day One
England made a perfect start, winning the opening day with a superb 13 points, ten ahead of Belgium Red. Section wins for Ringer, Stephens and Wakelin set the tone, while Freeman, Wootton and Kerry added consistent back-up scores. Ringer also topped the individual table on day one with 13.330kg.
The Masters side started strongly too. Darren Cox, Rich Vaughan, Eddie Bridon and debutant Dale Malpas all performed well to place third overall after the first day with 31 points.
Belgium Fight Back on Day Two
The hosts responded on day two, topping the day with 17.5 points, but England remained in control with 24 points. Freeman won his section, Ringer finished second and Wakelin third to keep the team in front.
For the Masters, Dale Malpas impressed with a section win, supported by solid results from Cox and Richie Hull. Their consistency kept them inside the medal positions heading into the final day.
England Finish in Style
England sealed the title with a brilliant performance on the final day, recording 16 points to win the day and the overall event comfortably. Section wins came from Stephens and Wakelin, with Ringer and Kerry both finishing second in section. Freeman and Wootton added strong scores to complete a dominant team display.
Ringer also placed second overall on the day with 12.940kg, confirming his second consecutive European Feeder Cup title and completing a memorable double gold.

The England Masters Feeder team held firm to take bronze, finishing just 3.5 points ahead of Germany 1. Cox and Malpas led the way for the side, both scoring nine points over the three days.
