Saturday, 7th June saw the 13th FishOMania qualifier of the season take place at Monk Lakes in Kent. Unlucky for some—but not for Jack Stamp—who stamped his authority on a tricky day’s fishing to secure his place in July’s Fisho Grand Final.
With conditions proving tougher than expected, many anglers struggled to find consistent action across the venue’s complex. Jack, however, managed to unlock the key to success from peg 90 on Lake 2. Fishing the long pole and dobbing pellets across, he worked hard for bites throughout the day and was rewarded with a winning net of carp weighing 135lb 4oz.
Second place went to experienced matchman Simon Skelton, who put together 92lb 8oz of carp from peg 31 on Lake 1. Not far behind was Kristian Fields with 83lb 8oz from peg 113 on Lake 3, just edging out Sam Brown’s 83lb 2oz from peg 88 from Lake 1. With three different lakes represented in the top four, the result highlighted just how evenly matched this qualifier was. However, it was Jack’s consistent approach that sealed the deal.

Congratulations to Jack Stamp who becomes the 16th angler to secure a spot in ths year’s FishOMania Grand FInal. Below is a list of all the anglers that have booked a place in next month’s Grand Final.
