The official FishOMania 2026 qualifier list has been released, confirming the biggest qualifying campaign in the competition’s history.
A total of 25 UK qualifiers will be staged between April and July, giving more anglers than ever the chance to reach fishing’s richest match. With a £50,000 first prize on the line and a sold-out Grand Final atmosphere guaranteed, demand for places is expected to be intense once ticket sales open.
The expanded calendar reflects Matchroom Sport’s decision to widen access to the event in its 33rd year, adding five extra qualifiers compared with recent seasons. Alongside the UK events, two European qualifiers will also be held.
More Routes To The FishOMania Final
Each UK qualifier winner will earn a place in the FishOMania 2026 Grand Final, which takes place at Westwood Lakes, Boston, Lincolnshire, on Saturday, 18th July.
As in previous years, several automatic entries are already confirmed. Reigning champion Brad Lucas returns to defend his title after becoming the youngest ever FishOMania winner in 2025. Invitations will also be extended to the 2026 Angling Trust Ladies National Champion and the angler recording the highest weight at the Junior and Youth National Championships.
That selection process brings the final field to 30 anglers, creating one of the most competitive Grand Finals in the event’s history.
FishOMania 2026 Qualifier Schedule
The qualifiers begin on Wednesday, 1st April at Tunnel Barn Farm and conclude on Wednesday, 1st July at Lindholme Lakes. Many of the country’s most established commercial fisheries feature on the list, with multiple visits to proven FishOMania venues.
Several fisheries host more than one qualifier, reflecting their consistent production of winning weights and fair match layouts.
