Matrix has confirmed the launch of the brand-new XTR pole range, a complete redesign that introduces an all-new mandrel for the first time in over a decade. The company admits changing mandrels is a risky step, but says it was essential to take pole performance to the next level.
The development has been ongoing since early 2024, with the first samples tested in major finals including FishOMania, the Maver Match This 2024 Grand FInal, and the UK Champs. According to Matrix, the XTR poles have passed every test “with flying colours”.
