This weekend, Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th September, 60 anglers will line up for the 2025 Bait-Tech Feeder Masters Final. With £15,000 awaiting the champion and prizes spread across the main frame and sections, the two-day event once again promises high drama.
Eighteen debutants have broken through to the big stage this year, underlining the strength of the qualifying campaign. Names such as Alan Norish, Brian Cooper, Leigh Bembrick, Nick Ewers, Marian Buzatu, Greg Roberts, Mike Topping, and John Millican will experience the unique Tamar atmosphere for the first time.
They join established international stars and former champions. Steve Ringer tops the official rankings after another consistent season and will be eager to finally secure this title. Close behind is three-time winner Lee Kerry, whose pedigree at this level is unquestioned. Mick Vials also returns, remarkably keeping his record of qualifying for every Feeder Masters Final since the competition began.
The venue has been fishing well in the build-up, with carp and bream showing all around the lake. A practice day earlier in the week saw plenty of fish landed, highlighted by a big carp caught by Sam Collett. The official practice match confirmed that bites were coming from all areas, suggesting both zones could be in play when the final begins.
Feeder Masters Final 2025 Pegging and Zones
The pegging has been finalised, with Zone A (pegs 1–30) stretching along the Cornwall Bank and Zone B (pegs 31–60) around the Devon Bank. Key landmarks such as Roach Bay, Quarry Point, Gorse Bush and the Black & White Post are expected to be hotly contested areas across the two days.
