Earlier this month, the newly owned Middy announced their first sponsored angler. That was followed last week by the news that On the Flyer’s Gary Rodgers has signed on as the company’s social media manager. In his welcome video, Rodgers revealed that Middy has recently signed five “renowned” anglers.
On Friday evening, the first of those anglers was revealed as Ryan Laycock. The former Frenzee angler joins the ranks having already qualified for this year’s Maver Match This final.
Laycock had this to say about the announcement:

Also I just want to say a thank you to Frenzee for the opportunity they gave me last year, the lads there were great Zimmo, Rob, Franny and the rest of the people involved some are still there some aren’t I wish them all the best in the future.
